Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question for one of our doctors? Want to know if we’ll take your dental insurance? Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our patients as us every day. If you have a question that we haven’t answered on this page, be sure to call our office and ask! We’re more than willing to take extra time to make sure you completely understand your dental care.

How often should I visit my dentist?

According to our doctors and the American Dental Association, patients of all ages should visit their dentist at least twice a year in order to keep their teeth completely healthy and avoid common dental problems like tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and more.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, we do! We understand that life doesn’t always allow you to call ahead, so feel free to just come see us when you can.

Are you open on the weekends?

Yes! We’re actually open most of the day on Sunday.

How long will my appointment take?

If you haven’t visited us before and don’t have any pressing dental concerns, your first visit should only take about an hour. If you come to see us to have a specific problem fixed, it may take longer, but we’ll make sure that you have a good idea of how long before you come to see us. Just be sure to call ahead if you can.

I have a dental emergency. What should I do?

After taking a moment to calm down, be sure to give our practice a call as soon as you can. We’ll give you advice and first-aid tips over the phone, and if needed, we can provide same-day emergency care as well.

Can you help me with my knocked out tooth?

Yes! First, try to find the tooth (picking it up only by the crown), and then give us a call. If you can get to us quick enough, we may be able to place the tooth back into your mouth, and if not, we can offer a variety of restorative options.

Will you accept my dental insurance?

OnCall Dental is in-network with and accepts a long list of dental insurance plans, and to see how we can use your particular plan to help you save at your next appointment, please contact us today.
